Every superyacht has a highly skilled, professional chef, often boasting Michelin stars. Guests can sample the chef’s cuisine before the charter begins if arranged in advance with the broker. Ensure the preferences form is completed accurately to help the chef plan menus and stock ingredients.

Deck hands are responsible for yacht maintenance and assisting with water sports. They may also serve as bartenders or waiters during meals. The interior crew keeps the cabins clean and provides additional amenities upon request.

It’s customary to tip the captain at the end of the charter, who will then divide the amount among the crew. The tip should reflect the service received, usually between 5% and 15% of the base charter fee.
